Tottenham vs Chelsea preview
Game :- Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea
Barclays Premier League
White Hart Lane, London
Sunday, December 12, 2010.
Kick off :- 16.00 UK time.
Sunday’s last Premier League clash sees Carlo Ancelotti’s out of form Chelsea take on Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
Bet on Tottenham vs Chelsea after reading our betting preview.
Chelsea have struggled to reproduce the form that saw them race to the top of the Premier League early in the season. Carlo Ancelotti’s men are now third in the table with 30 points from 16 games. They have won only one of their last six games in all competitions and went down 1-0 to Olympique Marseille in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Chelsea form- last five games-most recent first- Newcastle scorers in brackets-
Olympique Marseille 1-0 Chelsea
Chelsea 1-1 Everton ( Didier Drogba)
Newcastle 1-1 Chelsea ( Salomon Kalou)
Chelsea 2-1 Zilina ( Daniel Sturridge, Florent Malouda)
Birmingham 1-0 Chelsea
Sunderland 3-0 Chelsea
Frank Lampard is still out for Chelsea as Ancelotti will not risk him directly in such a high profile game without testing his fitness.
Tottenham Hotspur are fifth in the table, just four points behind Chelsea. They topped their Champions League group by drawing 3-3 with FC Twente in the Netherlands on Wednesday.
Spurs still have Niko Kranjcar and Rafael van der Vaart out, while Younes Kaboul will have a late fitness test. Jermaine Jenas, Tom Huddlestone, Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate continue to be long term absentees.
Here is an important fact- Chelsea have not won on their last four trips to White Hart Lane. Tottenham have won three of those fixture, with one game ending in a high scoring 4-4 draw.
Tottenham form- last five games- most recent first- Tottenham scorers in brackets-
Birmingham 1-1 Tottenham ( Sebastien Bassong)
Tottenham 2-1 Liverpool ( Own goal, Aaron Lennon)
Tottenham 3-0 Werder Bremen ( Younes Kaboul, Luka Modric, Peter Crouch)

Birmingham vs Tottenham Hotspur preview
Game :- Birmingham vs Tottenham Hotspur
Barclays’ Premier League
St.Andrews’, Birmingham
Saturday, December 4, 2010- KO 15.00 UK.
Tottenham will look to improve their scratchy away form when they visit Birmingham City this weekend in the Premier League. Bet on Birmingham vs Tottenham after reading our betting preview with PaddyPower.
Tottenham are a force to be reckoned with at home, as was demonstrated by their 2-1 win at White Hart Lane over Liverpool last weekend. In comparison their away form has not been the best, having picked up only 10 points out of a possible 21.
Harry Redknapp’s injury woes were compounded last week against Liverpool as Rafael van der Vaart and Younes Kaboul joined Spurs’ already crowded treatment room. However Michael Dawson has been named in the squad for the first time since his injury picked up on England duty.
With Van der Vaart out, Redknapp is likely to play two strikers upfront instead of playing one solitary forward. However with Wilson Palacios not in the best of form, this could cause a few problems for Spurs in midfield.

Tottenham 2-1 Liverpool ( Own goal, Aaron Lennon)
Tottenham 3-0 Werder Bremen ( Younes Kaboul, Luka Modric, Peter Crouch)

Tottenham are currently level on points with Inter Milan at the top of Group A but a win against Werder will confirm their entry into the knockout stages of the competition. This on the other hand is a must win game for Bremen- they have collected only two points from four games in Group A so far.
Tottenham’s left midfielder Gareth Bale was in stunning form in both legs against Inter Milan and will be worth putting your money on for an assist or even a goal. Bale also scored in Tottenham’s win over Arsenal at the weekend.

Tottenham vs Manchester City betting preview
Game:- Tottenham Hotspurs vs Manchester City
Competition :- Barclays Premier League
Venue :- White Hart Lane
Date :- Saturday, 14 August 2010
KO time:- 12:45 BST
The opening game of the 2010 Barclays Premier League is a mouth watering clash between two of the most improved English sides in recent years. Both Tottenham and Manchester City have a strong squad capable of challenging for top honours this season and they would be looking to assert their superiority right from the start.
Tottenham – last few games – most recent game on top
v.Benfica – Win 1-0 (Bale)
v.Villareal – Loss 1-4 (dos Santos)
v.Sporting – Draw 2-2 (Keane, Obika)
Harry Redknapp has had a quiet transfer window with midfielder Sandro being the only new face at the White Hart Lane. As a result most of the team that will take to the pitch will be the same as last season. Gareth Bale is expected to start after missing Wales’ midweek friendly against Luxemborg with an injury. Roman Pavlyuchenko and Jonathan Woodgate are injured and won’t be taking any part in the action. Verdan Corluka will play against his former employers.
Man City – last few games – most recent game on top
v.Valencia – Win 2-0 (Barry,Jo)
v.Borussia Dortmund – Loss 1-3 (Jo)
v.Inter Milan – Loss 0-3
Manchester City’s line-up is expected to include a host of new faces. Yaya Toure, Jerome Boateng and Alexander Kolarov are expected to slot straight into their line-up. David Silva might be forced to start on the bench with Adam Johnson and Shaun Wright-Phillips preferred on the wings. It will also be interesting to see whether Joe Hart starts in goal ahead of Shay Given.
City are expected to sign Mario Balotelli and James Milner in the next couple of days but they won’t be at City in time for this game. Stephen Ireland and Craig Bellamy are to miss out of City’s squad. The Robinho situation is again a mystery.
Match Verdict: Tottenham 1-1 Manchester City (Crouch / Adebayor)
City have more depth in their squad, but with Tottenham at home, I’d expect Harry Redknapp’s side to manage a draw.
