Real Madrid vs Valencia preview betting

Real Madrid vs Valencia

Spanish La Liga

Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid

Saturday, December 4, 2010

21.00 UK time.

Real Madrid’s fans will be demanding an immediate response from Los Blancos following their embarrassing 5-0 thrashing against Barcelona in the El Clasico, and next up for Jose Mourinho’s troops are old foes Valencia. Bet on Real Madrid vs Valencia with Bet365 after reading our preview.

Real Madrid were thoroughly outclassed by Barcelona. Mesut Ozil had a poor game and was substituted by Jose Mourinho soon after the latter realised he was not able to make an impact on the pitch. Even Cristiano Ronaldo was mostly a peripheral figure and he will be keen to atone for his performance against Valencia.

However there are problems for Madrid. Firstly, their backline will be without defenders Ricardo Carvalho and Sergio Ramos, both of whom are suspended. Prolific Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain, who along with Ronaldo, has been the main scorer of goals for Real this season, is also out. Karim Benzema had an off day against Barcelona and Mourinho might chose not to field him against Valencia this weekend.

Real Madrid form- last five games- most recent first- Real Madrid scorers in brackets-

Barcelona 5-0 Real Madrid
Ajax 0-4 Real Madrid ( Alvaro Arbeloa, Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo
