Baccarat Tables Safer Than Bank

Baccarat tables appear to be offering a more attractive returns than China’s negative bank rates, as high-rolling gamblers pushed Macau’s casino revenues to a fresh record last month.

Macau generated 18.869 billion patacas ($2.37 billion) in casino revenue in October, according to data from Macau’s Gaming and Inspection Coordination Bureau, the highest monthly number so far this year.

Gambling revenue in the enclave has been strong, signalling sustained growth in the world’s largest gambling market.

Baccarat is a casino game with a low house edges. A good Baccarat player should be able to break even or suffer only small loses. When you consider that casinos will often ‘comp’ rooms, entertainment and food to high rollers then ‘depositing’ your cash with a casino doesn’t sound so crazy. It’s a sign of the times when casinos are considered a safer bet than banks!
