World Hurdle hope Zaynar 'bigger and stronger'

  PICTURE: Mark Cranham  Zaynar 'bigger and stronger this season' By Lewis Porteous 8:36AM 17 NOV 2010 ZAYNAR, third in the Champion Hurdle in March, is reported to be "bigger and stronger this season" as he prepares to take a first step towards the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday.

A general 6-1 second-favourite for the World Hurdlein March, part-owner Victor Chandler believes Zaynar is a better horse this year.

"Zaynar is bigger and stronger this season, and we are also hoping that he is a fair bit better too," Chandler told The Guardian.

He added: "Zaynar's main aim this season will be the World Hurdle where we believe the step up to three miles will suit him very well.

"Big Buck's is going to be a tough nut to crack but the hope is that Zaynar will make steady progress and give him all he can handle at Cheltenham."

Paddy Power make Zaynar their 6-4 favourite for Saturday's contest.
