Williams happy with German triumph

Mark Williams has admitted he was happy to beat Mark Selby in the final of the German Masters in Berlin.

The Welshman also confessed that the experience had been ‘nerve-wracking’ as he saw his 7-4 lead cut to 7-7 during the evening session.

The 15th frame was arguably the clincher as Williams edged it before defeating Selby in the next frame with a break of 82. This saw the world number two claim the
