Liverpool will look to build on their last gasp win over Bolton Wanderers when they meet Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Wednesday. Bet on Blackburn vs Liverpool with PaddyPower after reading our preview at Sportsbookie.com.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson made a few changes from the side that had lost 1-0 to Wolves. Instead of starting Meireles on the right wing, he put him in the centre, and started with Maxi Rodriguez and Kuyt on the wings. Daniel Agger and Fabio Aurelio came into defence at the expense of Kyrgiakos and Konchesky respectively.

Meireles was injured midway through the first half and was replaced by talismanic skipper Steven Gerrard, who started the game on the bench due to fatigue. If Gerrard, Lucas and Meireles are all fit for the Blackburn game, it will be interesting to see what formation Hodgson adopts.

Liverpool did play better, but it was Bolton who went ahead through Kevin Davies. A splendid team move from the Reds culminated in Torres netting the equaliser and substitute Joe Cole gave Roy Hodgson more breathing space with his stoppage time winner.

Blackburn had a miserable outing in midweek as they went down to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. The Lancashire outfit were dominated from start to finish and struggled to really get going against Steve Bruce’s Wearsiders.

Striker Nikola Kalinic remains suspended for this fixture.
