ATP Qatar Open Odds

A new year has brought a fresh new round of competitive sporting events for us to salivate over and if you’re a tennis fan then you’ll be delighted with the abundance of matches on over the next few weeks as the world’s best tennis super stars get underway with the ATP tour.

Currently underway is the ATP in Doha, Qatar and with over $1 million up for grabs, they are really fighting it out for the title. Favourite for the men’s title is Rafael Nadal who is currently on evens, so not a huge amount of money to be made there is you fancy a bet. He’s followed by Federer, who is on slightly better odds, and after that there’s a massive jump to 10/1 for Davydenko so it looks like the bookies believe this is just a two horse race, again!

However, if you want to take the 10/1 chance on Davydenko, here’s a little bit more about him…He’s a 29 year old Ukrainian, who currently lives in Russia. At 5ft 10′ he’s not the tallest of the men’s players but clearly this hasn’t stopped him as he has formerly been 3rd in the world (2006) but has slipped back to his current placing of 22nd. And if you were ever in any doubt as to the earning potential of a ‘middle-of-the-road’ player, in 2010 he earned just under $1 million dollars for his efforts, while only winning one title!

But, enough of that, back to the ATP odds…they’re all below for you…
