Rouget pleased with Behkabad's draw in Arc

  PICTURE: Scoop Dyga  Rouget pleased with Behkabad's Arc draw By Desmond Stoneham 10:43AM 1 OCT 2010 TRAINER Jean-Claude Rouget revealed his delight after Behkabad, favourite for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, was drawn in stall nine for Sunday's Longchamp showpiece.

His Aidan O'Brien-trained stablemate Cape Blanco has drawn stall 11 and Planteur is in seven, which is historically one of the best draws. Youmzain, runner up for the last three years, is in stall 12 next door to  dual Classic winner Lope De Vega in 13.

Rouget said: "I am pleased with the number we have drawn and I don't think the ground will be a problem. I  think the one to beat will be Planteur."

Behkabad's jockey Christophe Lemaire was at the draw and added: "I would have liked to have number five but anywhere between two and ten is fine."

The Arc field has been reduced to 20 after the O'Brien pair Bright Horizon and Dixie Music were eliminated.
