"Red Cadeaux is drawn five and last year, six of the first seven home were drawn 16 or higher, so the omens don't look good," Dunlop told his website on Friday.

"However, he is a horse who does travel, so, hopefully, Johnny Murtagh will be able to bide his time and creep his way into the race. We will be held up to get the trip anyway, but the ground looks like being perfect and I have been very happy with his preparation."

Red Cadeaux, a son of Cadeaux Genereux owned by Ronald Arculli, has finished second in his last three starts, the last of which was over the Cesarewitch course and distance in September.
