Both of these sides were tipped for promotion pushes this season, especially Middlesbrough who well and truly splashed the cash during the summer. It would certainly be fair to say that QPR also spent a fair amount of money, but not even Neil Warnock could have imagined the start they’ve enjoyed. The R’s are top of the table having collected ten points from their opening four games
