Leading juvenile Wootton Bassett retains his Trophy entry as well, though he is expected to tackle the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp on Sunday instead.

Brian Meehan's three entires include two strong competitors, Black Moth and Crown Prosecutor, both of whom have run with credit in Group races this season.

Richard Fahey has six entries, including Wootton Bassett, but he could head to Longchamp for the Group 1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere on Sunday.

Sir Reginald, second in a £200,000 sales race at Newmarket last time out, and Premier Clarets are perhaps Fahey's best alternative hopes.

"Wootton Bassett wil run this weekend," Fahey said on Monday.

"He's entered up in France and that's the preferred option, but it could be very heavy ground and in that case he might not run there.

"It's all up in the air who runs
